WHK's Staff Development program is designed specifically for the legal fraternity and is endorsed by the Queensland Law Society.

What can this “Organisational Growth through Staff Development” program do for you?WHK’s Organisational Growth through Staff Development (OGSD) program has been designed to assist the legal fraternity develop soft skills resulting in improved job performance.

Development of team synergy and communication competence of the group is a major objective of the OGSD program

What does the program involve?
The OGSD program is made up of three principle ‘modules of learning’, including;

  • The Value of Values – In this module of learning we examine and articulate the essential Values & Behaviours that form the building blocks of both the individual and organisation’s capabilities and competencies;
  • Communication Competence

    Part 1: Understanding Yourself and Others – Using the renowned Myers Briggs ‘TYPE’ Personality Profiling system we provide a hands-on practical guide for staff members to better understand themselves and their colleagues.

    Part 2: Effective Communication – Using the skills and knowledge learned in the previous session, participants are encouraged to learn how to communicate more effectively with those that differ from themselves.

  • Developing Trust and Resolving Conflict
    Trust matters in many ways; customer loyalty, staff morale, leadership effectiveness; It is the lubrication that makes it possible for organisations to work. In this module of learning we undertake specific exercises that will assist in the development of trust between team members and individuals

What is the program format?

WHK’s OGSD program is a four part series of professional development training, with each session being one hour in duration.

As the program is rolled out over a period of four months and involves only one hour long session per month, there is minimal impact on workplace productivity.

Furthermore, each of the sessions is delivered by our experienced facilitator and can be conducted onsite at your premises, allowing an immediate return to work for your valuable staff members.

We strongly recommend group sizes of 5 to 10 people to facilitate team synergy.

Your Investment in the Program?

The program requires an investment of $1,595 (ex GST), payable in 2 instalments; 50% upon commencement and 50% mid course.

This includes:

  • Delivery of all four sessions in the program, limited to ten participants per program;
  • Provision of a comprehensive MBTI personality profile report for each participant;

Our fees exclude travel outside Cairns & surrounding areas, facility hire and catering (where required).
