Dr Chris White -Director & Migration Agent

Dr Christopher R White - Director and Registered Migration Agent No. 9255749

Registered Migration Agent with more than 18 years experience in the industry.
Chris keeps his finger on the pulse with the rapidly changing Migration Act and Regulations, ensuring that his clients are provided with up-to-date advice and assistance for all of their migration needs.

Chris has been practicing migration since 1986, after he recognised that there was a need for a skilled migration agent in  North Queensland .  Chris has been a member of the executive of the Migration Institute of Australia, the Institute of Management Consultants, a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia.  Chris deals with a wide range of public and private sector clients with an emphasis on business improvement.

  

Cherry Taylor – Team Leader

Cherry recently joined Migration Plus as a Team leader providing migration services nationally.  Cherry has 15 years experience in Sales and Marketing and 6 years in Management where she was most recently the branch Manager for both Darwin and Cairns branches of an international recruitment agency leading very successful teams of consultants.


 
Fiona Ryan - Migration Assistant

Fiona Ryan - Registered Migration Agent No. 0640004 (Mandarin speaking)

Fiona is a registered Migration Agent.   Fiona’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Applied Linguistics through Griffith University, Brisbane.  Fiona is looking forward to assisting clients in her role as a Migration Agent.  She speaks Chinese Mandarin and spent 2.5 years living in China and Taiwan.

 

 

Chizuru Takao – Japanese Speaking Migration Assistant

Chizuru specialises in Japanese clients and is dedicated to providing migration and business services since 2000.  She advises on taxation and business issues that many migrants undergo at some stage of their settlement in Australia.  She is a Chartered Accountant and a NAATI professional translator (English to Japanese).  She is Treasurer of the Australia Japan Society in Far North Queensland and a member of the Japanese Society in Cairns.

Yoko Yamaguchi – Japanese speaking Migration Assistant

Yoko speaks and writes English and Japanese fluently. Having lived in Cairns for nearly 10 years, Yoko also has many years experience in customer service. Yoko is assisting the Migration team and is pursuing the skills and experience to become a qualified Migration Agent, whilst also studying towards a Diploma in Accounting.

Janie Edwards – Mandarin Speaking Migration Assistant

 

Janie assists the Migration team with general migration matters as a Customer Service Officer.  She is an accountant, language   teacher and trainer.  Janie is fluent in speaking and writing Chinese (Mandarin) and can assist all clients requiring her language skills.

 


Tamara Thomas - Migration Assistant

As an experienced Migration Assistant, Tamara assists with the preparation and compiling of visa applications, handles general migration enquiries and scheduling appointments.  She has the Certificate IV – Training and Assessment and a background in training and customer service.


Kathryn Spicer - Migration Assistant

Kathyrn’s role at Migration Plus is to provide assistance to the Migration Agents including assisting with the preparation and lodgement of visa applications.
