WHK in the Community

WHK is serious about its role in the community. We live and work in the community and we contribute to our community in a positive way - we take this responsibility seriously - and we enjoy assisting where we can. Some of the areas in which we provide significant input are:

• WHK is an active supporter in the annual Relay for Life Fundraiser, participating in this event every year
• WHK is the major sponsor for the Great Debate annually
• WHK is a sponsor of the annual Chamber Golf Day
• WHK has supported the Australian Japan Society Cairns and the Cairns Japanese Society through M/s Chiz Takao- one of our valued team members
• Fr Paul Beasley supports Anglicare in our region
• WHK supports various indigenous sporting bodies on Cape York and the Western Gulf areas
• A number of our Principals donate their own time to various community groups and organisations
• WHK supports the local blood bank, our co-ordinators are Caroline Cheng and Arleen Lee Long
