WHK Greenwoods have put together a specialised Indigenous Service team made up of experienced staff to service Indigenous community organisations and government agencies right across Northern Australia. While traditional accounting firms focus on providing accounting, taxation, audit, corporate finance and wealth management services, we do this as well as seek to establish deeper relationships with our clients and have therefore developed an extended range of services (including coaching and professional development) and assisting with Government programme service delivery.
We also provide specialist services in emerging and evolving business areas such as strategic planning, project development and monitoring, governance, capacity building, and mentoring services.
Business support services
- Business systems: Our consultants have many years experience in the design and development of business systems, including record keeping, bookkeeping financial management, payroll and information systems;
- Business strategies: We can assist your organisation by facilitating the development of your strategic and business plans and budgets;
- Staff management: We will assist in the development of staff management plans through the development of sound procedures and appropriate manuals. This service is clearly linked to our training services provided through our proactive training team; and
- Financial management: This service provides your Board with assurance of the quality of your financial reports by regular monitoring of the financial processes and the development of quality of reports. Staff and the management committee will be trained in reading these reports and we will ensure reports are designed to be user friendly.
Mentoring services
- Work plans: We can guide you and assist you in the development of work plans;
- Staff development: WHK Greenwoods specialises in standing beside your staff as they develop in the roles they have been allocated. Initially we will assist with job descriptions and will follow this up with regular visits or just being there on the phone to answer questions to develop the confidence of staff members; and
- Staff Performance management: Once we have assisted you in the development of strategic and work plans we will mentor your staff through monitoring actual performance against plan and reporting thereon.
Training
Leadership development: Our programmes include; “Coaching to success”, “Creating successful young entrepreneurs and business managers” and “Organisational growth through staff development”; and
Financial management: WHK will develop courses specifically to meet your training needs for staff and for directors, including how to budget, how to prevent breaches, how to improve your finance management.
